There are things that we prefer but a whole different way of using blusher whatever suits you and your face type and face shape. There are different types of skin, like fair skin and medium skin tones, and olive skin. And different types of face shapes like square faces, oval faces, heart-shaped faces etc. We just want to show you five different techniques and different placements on the face to give different illusions so give them a to see what you think and let me know which is your favorite and or any new ones that you do know in a second.
In The Apple Of The Cheeks
Let's dive straight into it! When it comes to applying cream blush to your face, the apple of the cheek is the most classic placement and a go-to for many people. It's a youthful and lovely way to add color to the face, but there are a few tricks to keep in mind. While there may be a temptation to smile and then apply it with a blush brush directly to the apple of the cheek, it's important to remember that this area tends to drop throughout the day. So, we need to accommodate for that by going a little higher and further out from where our apple is. To keep things looking natural and realistic, we prefer a large diffuse application rather than anything too detailed. Don't forget to introduce a little blush to the temple area, a touch to the nose, and maybe even the chin for a cohesive look. If you have surface redness, it's best to apply a little concealer after the blush to clean up any redness around the nose or jawline. By keeping these tips in mind, you can achieve a flawless and professional-looking blush application every time.
The Sculpted Cheekbone
For a sculpted cheekbone look, start by applying blush on the back of the cheekbone at a 45-degree tilt, and then wrap it up around the cheekbone. Salt New York Coral is a great formula for this placement, as it is emollient but not too glossy, and easy to blend. Begin by observing the cheekbone and placing the blush just a touch higher to compensate for blending. Keep the placement quite large, focusing on the outer perimeter of the face. If you feel like your placement has gone out of bounds, use your foundation tool to dull it down. Another visual cue is to imagine a line coming down from the iris and keep the blush mostly on the outer portion of that line. Add a little bit to the bridge of the nose, chin, and temples to create a natural flush. This blush placement works well for those with surface redness on the central portions of their face, as it does not compete with any redness around the mouth and nose. 
For a more contoured look, apply a little bit of concealer or a powder with coverage underneath the cheekbone to highlight and improve contrast. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to do this placement, and it is all about personal preference.
The Double Dip
For this technique, we call it the double dip blush formulas, and it requires two blushes: a softer, more neutral, and sheer one and a brighter, more pigmented one. The softer shade is applied around the rim over the larger cheek area, while the brighter shade is applied in the center of the cheeks. Using two shades helps create a more blended and natural-looking flush, which is perfect for those who struggle with getting their blush perfectly blended. You can use blushes from the same color family, but it's not necessary.
The Watercolour For Freestyle
When it comes to freestyle blush ideas, it's all about playing with your favorite powder blushes and creating your own art. To start, we suggest using a tawny shade like Revlon Naughty Nude for a bronzer placement. The watercolor blush is great for those who are indecisive and want to use a bunch of their favorite blushes all at once. For this look, we recommend connecting your blush and eyeshadow by using a pointier brush to blend the end of your eyeshadow with your blush. A pop of orange on the apple of the cheek can give a nice touch. The key is to layer and mix the different blush shades to create a big watercolor painting effect. We don't want any edges between the different perfect shades, so they blend seamlessly. This technique is perfect for sallow skins, giving an all-over warmth, glow, and color. The Insta Filter Blush Placement
The "Insta Filter" blush idea, is popular on Instagram and TikTok and is known for its cute, youthful, and horizontal blushy bronzy placement. To achieve this look, you will need both a bronzer and a blush. We will be using the cream bronzer, starting high on the cheekbone and coming straight across the face to mimic the way the sun hits the face on the highest planes. The placement is primarily across the bridge of the nose, and we will add a little bit to the temples and chin. The bronzer placement is horizontal, and we will keep it high and blend all the edges.
